Sunga & Sparta is an upscale yet value-for-money family dining space in Guwahati, born from a passion to create a culinary experience that spans across three generations. The restaurant offers a unique journey through ancient cultures, blending the traditions of East Asia with those of the Mediterranean and Central Asian regions.

Culinary Inspiration

1. Sparta Section: Inspired by the ancient Kingdom of Persia, this section reflects the Mediterranean and Central Asian culinary roots. Many dishes are inspired by the rich history of Persian cuisine, offering a taste of a Greek-inspired atmosphere.

2. Sunga Section: Drawing inspiration from East Asia, from Assam to Japan, this section highlights the use of bamboo—a common element in the region's food and culture. Its design evokes the serene beauty of a Japanese cherry blossom garden.

Innovation and Quality

1. Collaboration with Experts: The restaurant's menu is the result of 14 months of extensive food trials, developed in collaboration with IIT Guwahati, Executive Chef Jason de Souza.

2. Health and Transparency: Sunga & Sparta is proud to be palm oil-free, using only the healthiest ingredients sourced with care from across the Northeast.

3. Live Kitchen Concept: To build trust through transparency, the restaurant operates with full-view live kitchens, allowing guests to see exactly how their food is prepared.
